Toyohari Acupuncture, Chinese Herbal Medicine, Medicinal Leech Therapy
Tuesday, Thursday & Friday
Stefan has been practicing traditional Chinese Medicine in Woy Woy for over 15 years. He is a registered practitioner of Chinese herbal medicine and Acupuncture – specialising in the Japanese Toyohari style.
Toyohari stands out as a precise and gentle form of acupuncture. A treatment consists of two parts, the root and branch treatment. During the root treatment, blockages to blood and energy flow in the body are rectified. The branch treatment deals with the reduction of symptoms. Both parts are important so the underlying causes of health conditions as well as its symptoms are addressed and long lasting results are achieved.
For the treatment of infants and children Stefan uses the Japanese paediatric therapy, Shonishin. An ultra gentle treatment that is based on Chinese medicine principles. This painless method is suitable for all ages from newborn to teenage.
Chinese herbal medicine is used to threat health conditions from inside. Granulated herbs are individually formulated to suit the patient. The combination of acupuncture and herbs work in synergy to reach clinical goals quicker.
Stefan is one of very few medicinal leech therapists in Australia. Leech therapy is a classical treatment for many health conditions involving inflammation and blockages of blood circulation.
